my neighbor's altar
35 mm double exposure
Neighbor's Window/Grayton Beach, FL
Tallahassee, FL/ Santa Rosa Beach, FL
all my double exposure images are completely coincidental overlaps of images. my not-so-fancy-method includes shooting an entire roll of film, rewinding back to "1", and then shooting completely over the first roll {p.s. if you're interested in trying this, contact me as there's a little more to it than just that and i want you to have double exposure success!} i particularly enjoy this method because of the element of surprise each time i pick my images up from the drug store. even if a roll is mostly unsuccessful, there will always be those few images that make it completely worth it.
this image is one of those for me. at first glance it doesn't look like two images, but upon closer observation you begin to decipher a stretching beach landscape along the bottom.
